About the Role

Reporting to the Superintendent Process Engineering – Kwinana, in the capacity of Process Engineer you will be part of a high performing team supporting the day to day operations of the plant.

Key responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Applying an understanding of Process (Chemical) Engineering to support operations in achieving the business outcomes of Sustainability, Production and Cost.
  • Ability to maintain and improve safety and process control across the plant
  • Problem solving of refinery operating issues
  • Supporting risk reviews and implementing corrective actions and investigations.
  • Driving short term improvement projects
  • Delivering plant modifications and changes

About You

You will be a Graduate Engineer (Chemical or Metallurgical), ideally with several years post graduate experience. You are a team player with highly developed written and verbal communication skills and the desire to help deliver key outcomes focused around safety and risk, process optimisation and continuous improvement.

In addition, following would be highly advantageous:

  • Experience in a chemical or minerals processing environment
  • A dedicated approach to process safety
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to drive and influence teams
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering continuous improvement projects
  • Minimum of C class manual drivers licence
